The Bitcoin project decision-making has never been decentralized.
To solve this problem I invented the BMP protocol/tool. Which is based on hashpower voting. Which is the original consensus mechanism described in Satoshi Nakamoto’s whitepaper.
Currently there are two independent nodes deployed:
Both show the same global view. Without central authority. Universally verifiable.
The voting system is available for testing too. P2Pool allows to paticipate using very little hashpower.
Knuth and Bitcoin Unlimited have already participated.
